This game is fucking rediculous. It is literally the most frustrating game I have ever played. Yes, literally. Fucking retarded. Horrible controls, AI is way too powerful, and what the fuck is with the awful collision detection and randomly falling off things to your death? Worst game I have played in a long time. I can't believe I fucking payed $60 for this shit.

Well, QWOP is free if you'd like to play that instead. LINK

I have. Love it. Beat it twice. It's supposed to be hard. The AI is purposely too powerful. It's about employing tactics and watching for patterns. Wait for an opening and then strike. It's not a hack and slash by any means. Really beautiful once you get used to it. Accept that you'll die. Look for better loot always. Know how you play and cater to that. I play a tank type character. Biggest tower shield for blocking, biggest axe for striking. Heaviest armor to absorb attacks. The tagline for the original was "Prepare to die". It's not for everyone but it's by no means a bad game. Just challenging at times.

Isn't half the appeal that it is supposed to be hard as balls to play?

I know how to get him to run somewhat normally (for QWOP) but I still haven't gotten him past 40 meters.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to try this again, this time sober, and with the knowledge that I need to upgrade my shit. I probably shouldn't have deliberately picked a character I thought would make it a challenge.

I've played multiplayer with and against some magic users and it seems like it takes a lot of skill and patience to get a decent magic based character, more so than say the tank that I play as. Pyromancy will be very useful once you get the tools to use it but I would never recommend starting as a Pyromancer (he gets a sword but no stats to use it effectively). Remember, when you level up, you can put points anywhere. so you can practically change your build at any time.

I picked the sorcerer class. Basically my playing style has evolved into a Zelda like fighting style. Dodge a lot, strike when they're busy.
